Progress Blog - Final Thoughts
Now coming to the end of the coursework for G324, I have come to an end, and I am very proud I have accomplished. I feel like I've come to the end of a long tunnel and I'm very appreciative of what Ive been through.
It has now got to the point where my video is the best it could possibly be, and my video has now been entered into the RTS awards, just waiting to find out whether it has been shortlisted for the entertainment category. This has made me feel complete, as if my work has finally paid off, and i am being rewarded for it.
But looking back, I think there would be a few things I would like to change about my video, such as making it a bit smoother, and possibly using anamorphic cropping to have a thick letterbox to make it come across all the more cinematic, as of it being a technique used in cinemas to make a movie look more filmic.
All in all, I'm happy, and very fortunate to receive mostly level 4's throughout my project, and very happy with where my coursework is, and hopefully will stay at after final marking.

Progress Blog 6 (Evaluation ideas)
I'm about to start the evaluation, after mocking up some basic ideas, I feel confident of how I am going to tackle each question of the evaluation.
For question 1, I am going to make a video, one that is similar to directors commentary on films, it is going to be me sat down, and recording myself discussing my work in detail, using several theorists to back up my claims such as Mittell, Goodwin, Mulvey, and Levi-Strauss plus several others. During my talk I will discuss how some theorists have gone hand in hand in helping me build my project where as others i have expanded on their ideas to make my music video something unique and special, and how others I've completely went against their theories because I do not agree with them in the context of my film.
For question 2 I plan on making a glogster, as it is a clear and presentable way to show how I have created brand identity, it will allow me to make creative pages that can clearly mix text and images of everything I have created to make my products have brand identity.
For question 3, I plan on making an emaze page having a clear presentation style, with interesting and advanced animations, and fun clear layout which is superior to prezi. For this, I shall do each area as 2 animated pages, the first page being about what my feedback was, and secondly what I learned from it, this will mostly involve me discussing how different genres and directing styles are what I mostly learned about from feedback.
For question 4 I plan on doing it as a Pinterest, as it easy a clear and easy way to pin each program I've used to it, with a nice text box which clearly shows what I have done with it, and describes its advantages throughout. As well as this, I plan on using the screen cast on Quick time, to record 2 separate videos, showing exactly what I did in both Final Cut Pro and Adobe Photoshop CS5, this will be complete with some minor editing to enhance my use of digital technology.
